Mold making

For the production of molds and models, we utilize a modern, well-equipped tool shop and machining facilities, enabling the precise and rapid shaping of models based on customer drawings or samples. This allows us to accommodate both one-off production and large-scale casting runs.

Machine molding operations at the Bjelovar Foundry facility utilize the following equipment:

  •  Disamatic 2013 MK3 – mold dimensions 480 x 600 x 120–330 mm
  •  Disamatic 2130 – mold dimensions 600 x 775 x 200–540 mm
  •  Disamatic 230-B – mold dimensions 535 x 650 mm
  •  Foromat-40 – mold dimensions 800 x 800, 900 x 900, and 800 x 1000 mm (2 pairs of machines)
  •  Malcos SPL 400 – mold dimensions 700 x 800 mm

Molding sand preparation is carried out using a DISA SAM 10/100 sand mixer with a capacity of 75 t/h, equipped with a sand quality control system (SMC – Sand Multi-Controller) that measures compactability and moisture content for every batch.

Our state-of-the-art machine molding facility—featuring automated sand preparation and "Shell" process core-making machines—enables rapid delivery, allowing us to produce a new casting in just three days.
