Grey iron production is carried out in accordance with DIN EN 1561 / DIN 1691 standards, covering grades from EN-GJL-100 to EN-GJL-300, with tensile strengths ranging from 100 to 380 N/mm² and hardness values between <150 and 270 HB.
Casting quality is ensured through comprehensive laboratory equipment, including:
- foundry sand analysis (cohesiometer, permeameter, moisture testing device)
- chemical composition analysis using a LECO GDS 500A spectrometer
- microstructure examination using an Olympus optical microscope
- dimensional inspection using a FARO measuring arm, with an accuracy of up to ±0.005 mm
- mechanical property testing (Brinell hardness, tensile strength testing on a SHIMADZU AG-X machine)
The quality management system is certified according to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2008 standards, and holds approval from the Croatian Register of Shipping for the production of grey and ductile iron castings.
